I met up with my new friend Serge this week at the KRS One book event.  Really cool of  Serge to give me the deets about event. Unfortunately I missed the open bar.  But I scored a free copy of “The Gospel of Hip Hop” and a bottle of Vitamin water.  The event was set up like a mini hip hop museum.  I think they even had their own version of the statue of  “David”

I haven’t taken pics of artists in awhile so I decided to come packing with my camera and lil flip. Took some shots of Kool Herc. For some reason he was asking for donations for autographs not sure what the donations were for.  Hmm.  Check out the pics.  Hope you enjoy.
